Hey guys, how are you all?
I hope you are all safe and keeping well in the crazy world right now and not getting bored of the endless pub quizzes and zoom movie nights. So I thought I’d firstly thank you all for the reception to the Safest Place in the World video which is one week old today! I’m really over joyed that so many of you loved it and have taken to sharing and retweeting it so many of more can enjoy it. The video is a personal favourite of mine as it has so many of my loved ones in and gives me a warm heart as I watch it, I hope if you hear the song you too can find some solace in your safe place.
I wrote the song about mental health just before the dreaded C word hit the UK and as songs often do it has taken on a meaning of its own with so many wishing to hug there loved ones or see there children, parents or family. For me the mental health aspect of this lockdown is huge and I for one have also suffered, many of you who know me personally understand my own struggles with this game we cal life. I urge so many of you to reach out to loved ones if you find you are suffering or not coping too well, this is a time that we all need to safe place to feel happy.
Once this is over the world will somewhat go back to normal and 2020 will go down as the year the earth stood still. But I ask so many of you to take the positives from this moment and this time and we can now really make a difference to the world we live in. We can truly heal the world and as the great Michael Jackson once said, Make it a better place. I know it’s tough out there but this is a passage of time we have to get through as a race and we can win and we will come back stronger than ever.
Safest Place In The World is out on all good streaming services from May 29th 2020 and I will post links when I get them, but I ask you my loyal friends to please share the video as much as you can, you never know who it may help. I know it has helped a few already. So please share, share and share again! I have never asked for anything to be shared but this one is special.
And if you are in the UK and struggling and have no idea who to talk to please call the Samaritans on 116 123. Its a totally free call and they are open 24 hours a day 365 days a year!
Love and light to you all
