Plans followed by a lockdown

Its a funny old world, like crazy mental! We all had so many dreams and goals for 2020. Start dating, get married, see the world and just be on the earth and bask in all that mother nature has to offer. Yet here we are in lockdown, tied to our homes and trying to stay sane by using technology to help keep us focused and in touch with friends and family. But is it really all that bad, yes we have lost so much but we have also gained a moment to simply make the world a little bit smaller? To start new things we may never have had the time for, or to revisit old loves and passions, to just be, in a moment or a time and just be at one with that peace.

For me it’s been an important time to do some soul searching, to find some inner truth that has allowed me to song write again and enjoy that process of making music and making art. I have managed to reconnect with my faith which has pilled into the new music I’m creating. I am a Asatru follower and many of you will have no idea what that is and I’m sure one day I will share more, but it has allowed me to find my spirit and share myself and my words with the world, so it’s not all bad. I guess I am a culprit of running life at 100 miles per hour, trying to fill every empty moment with something and if this lockdown has taught me anything its that I should take time to just be, and to allow that process.

I truly hope that the lockdown in which ever country you are in has also given you time and a moment to find passions and loves that you never had before, I hope that you are safe and well and that you all know we will be over this soon and life will be back to crazy and full on. Until then stay safe and be kind to each other!
