A comedown week

I love to blog, as well as writing music and playing guitar I do like to sit and write these little blog posts for you. I hope firstly you enjoy reading them and also it gives you a little insight into my world.

This last week has been tough, like really tough. Going from incredible highs to a low I can’t even think about again. Imagine if you will playing on stage to UK country fans, signing autographs and listening to amazing singers to then being alone and back in the normal world. Work, dishes, ironing, and shopping. Its a real bump in the old reality stakes. I mean I sat there one night and just sobbed into my pillow as I couldn’t adjust to the silence. Some of you may find this crazy but for me, it was a huge weekend, it was the first time I had come off stage and felt good about what I did up there. It was one of the first times people came over to thank me for my music and also ask me if I had a CD

So after all this, I was on a massive high! It was the first times I felt good enough, like my music and my little words matter and I should be proud! and then it was back down to earth with a bump!! A huge bump! It’s been tough but also eye-opening, it has allowed me the headspace to want to move forward with my music and write new songs and show the world that I am good enough and that I can fit in, so guys watch this space! And to that one special lady (You know who you are) I thank you for kicking my butt to get me up there to start with.
